PARIS – The lights have gone down on Ultimate Fighting Arena (UFA) 2026, but the walls of Dock Pullman are still echoing with the electric fervour that shook the French capital from 11 to 13 September 2026. Europe's biggest fighting game festival delivered on every promise: the atmosphere of a volcanic cauldron, rallying cries and monumental pop-offs. In the middle of this unforgiving arena, our Belgian players threw everything into battle, producing heroic runs marked by sweat and panache.

While the crowd roared itself hoarse for the international stars, the black, yellow and red flag flew proudly through pools and finals, carried by exceptional competitors.

The Belgian delegation made the favourites sweat thanks to a particularly sharp and fiercely determined group:

True to his reputation as a warrior, the Belgian champion delivered a run built on pure fighting spirit. After an explosive start in pools, he faced the kind of adversity reserved for the biggest days and held on in the Losers Bracket through sheer mental strength. Driven by a Belgian crowd in raptures at every Drive Rush, he secured a magnificent 65th place in the world after an intensely fought run.

With a run just as exceptional and clinical, he also forced his way into the Top 96 to reach the same 65th place alongside Takamura, proving the consistency and extremely high level of Belgium's leading players on the European stage.

All three gritted their teeth and fought their way brilliantly out of the preliminary pools. Caught in the funnel of the elimination brackets under pressure from Europe's heavyweights, they bowed out with a very valiant 97th place.

Trapped in suffocatingly stacked pools, they made some of the circuit's biggest names doubt themselves. Despite excellent stretches of play and rounds snatched with ice-cold composure down to the final pixel of life, they bowed out with honour during the elimination group stage, all finishing 129th overall.

The level on Bandai Namco's legendary stage reached brutal heights, and our national armada made every opponent pay dearly, led by a formidable duo in the Top 40:

A true metronome of pokes and pinpoint punishment, he cruised through his opening pools with outrageous control. Against fierce international competition in Saturday's bracket, he drew on his mastery of frame data to claim a superb 33rd place after a string of unforgettable matches.
Finisher
Just as imperious and razor-sharp in his timing, he imposed his pace on the world's finest technicians, carving out a heroic path to that same prestigious 33rd place worldwide.
Miguel
Powered by clinical aggression and relentless pressure, he strung together high-level rounds and dragged himself out of pools the hard way. Fighting to his final breath in the Losers Bracket, he earned a solid and highly honourable 49th place.
The resistance on Guilty Gear -Strive-
In the animated arena of cyber-samurai, the Belgian players also did their community proud. Facing an extremely stacked bracket, our representatives bit the dust and the stick with honour:

Steady on his feet, he escaped a series of complex traps to claim an excellent 33rd place, falling just short of the coveted upper reaches.
Mr Sac
With nerves of steel, he fought for every frame to seize a brave 49th place, confirming his steady progress against Europe's elite.
Taking flight on Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising
The show continued on Granblue's dazzling stage, a major tournament carrying World Tour status this year. This is where SDinart left his mark. Armed with impeccable spacing, he imposed his rhythm from the opening stages of pools.

Against legends of the discipline, including eventual champion Space, he produced Belgium's best result of the weekend across the Arc System Works titles, climbing to an incredible 17th place! A remarkable run that confirms his status as a boss.

A legendary atmosphere at the Docks
Beyond the scores, this 2026 edition will be remembered for a unique sense of communion. The atmosphere inside Dock Pullman was almost impossible to breathe during the finals: rival supporters' chants echoed from one end of the building to the other, while the BYOC (Bring Your Own Console) areas stirred in that unmistakable blend of chips and sweat found at the greatest events. The smell of tension mixed with explosions of joy every time a Perfect appeared on the giant screens.
Belgium did not leave with the biggest trophy this time, but with such an armada clustered among Europe's best, it earned the respect of the entire FGC. The date is set for 2027.
